Sound healing is a practice that uses sound and vibration to help improve a person’s well-being. Every part of the body, including tissues, organs and cells, has its own natural frequency of vibration, which can be disrupted by stress, tension and disease. The goal of sound healing is to bring these frequencies back into harmonious balance, stimulating the body and mind to heal themselves.
The benefits of sound healing are numerous and vary from person to person. Some of the most common benefits include relaxation, reduction of stress, anxiety and pain, improved sleep, increased concentration, creativity and productivity.
I first came into contact with meditation techniques while training at the Teatro della Contraddizione School of Dramatic Art, which bases its work on a type of experimental research aimed at freeing the person from their own superstructure to a state of absolute neutrality and deep awareness, necessary to embody different energy flows that are slowly listened to, channeled and articulated in the body. The connection with sound began years earlier, using my voice for passion, then for work and later delving into digital music production in a private training at Massive Arts Studios.
With a degree in Communication, Media and Advertising from IULM University, I worked for a long time in the performing arts and entertainment industry until I felt the need to take a path that could actually be beneficial to myself and others. This is how I discovered sound therapy and became a student of Luca Vignali at his school Musica Tantra. Through this discipline, I have been able to connect the dots of the various skills I have acquired during my journey and manifest through my work what I believe in most absolutely: CARE. Whether caring for self, others, or the surrounding, I firmly believe that care and communication are the most powerful tools we have at our disposal to investigate and evolve as humanity.
